I know now the effects of cold fronts...
Just got back from my trip to Santee Cooper in South Carolina and man was the fishing tougher than I had thought. I was met by temps in the 40s and water temps in the low 50s and that was 10 degrees cooler than it was the week before. The fishing was completely off. They weren't in the back of creeks and weren't hanging on staging areas. It took a ton of work and a lot of water covered to get the ones I did. Tough to say the least! The weather finally started to turn and was back in the 70s by the end of the week. Still no complaints though as it was fun fishing in March in shorts and flip flops when I knew there was over 2' of ice still back home. Can't wait to get back after em!
